Our client is a global technology leader in the automation industry. We are looking for the:

GLOBAL SALES PLANNING MANAGER - Rif. CL1833

The Global Sales Planning Manager will be the link between sales organization, customers and supply chain operations. Reporting directly to the COO, the Global Sales Planning Manager will work directly with Sales and Operation team to drive sales pipeline growth, contribute to channel demand planning and support the best practice of sales forecasting. The role combines strategy planning, cross-functional collaboration and day-to-day execution. The role interacts with sales and supply chain operation leaders in the demand/supply planning process to ensure financial and customer requirements are achieved.

Key Accountabilities
• Implement Sales Planning activities also using new reports and dashboards for sales analysis and forecast.
• Collaborate with the B.U. Managers and Regional Vice Presidents in drawing up the Sales Budget verifying the feasibility in accordance with the Operation team.
• Act as the link among sales, supply chain operation and finance department for all aspects of the demand and supply management process to drive alignment between market opportunities and supply chain planning.
• Work with channel managers to analyze sale out and inventory levels for distributors and channel partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the sales forecast;
• Support B.U. Managers during budget meetings and forecast meetings.
• Collaborate in developing inventory strategies on existing products and new products.
• Analyze market trend working with sales and demand planning to improve sales forecasting model.

The successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in the same role, matured within international companies, preferably with both B2B and B2C approach.
- Familiarity with Sales Planning models and with the implementation of a Sales Planning process.
- Analytical skills, business acumen and strong attitude to cross-functional relationship.
- SAP experience.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
